Fasten Your Seat Belt.....Are You Ready For Our Equine Educational Collaborative Academy?

Happy Fall, it is that time again! I mean it is the happy time for the Autumn people who get excited about all things pumpkin spice on September 1!!! 

That is me for sure.  For those who love summer it may not be their favorite time, but for all of us, autumn happens every year so give yourself a nice warm hug for all you have experienced, learned and accomplished this year just by being the awesome human you are and by sharing your life with horses. From that space you will undoubtedly find something to rejoice in about the seasons ahead.

I am so excited to announce the long awaited launch of this educational collaborative.

I personally love the fall as it brings with it the slower pace of teaching and travelling, which allows me the gift of being home more.  The overwhelming joy that brings to me comes from the learning and additional research I have time to settle in to, as well as the writing and production side [of having the humble, honor] of being an educator in the horse world! 

It is because of that ‘down’ time that I am able to announce the launch of Equine Self Expression’s Collaborative Educational Academy.  This academy has been in planning stages for over a year, and although it doesn’t seem as though there is much to do other than for me to show up, in order to have a system of education in place that makes sense and has follow through, I have needed time to ponder, produce, do trials and determine the best approach that is sustainable for myself and my students. You asked and we have spent 2 years gathering data, and putting the details in place to provide the most well rounded educational platform of integrated information relative to the many  avenues of the horse.  I am incredibly humbled and delighted to present this educational academy to you at this time.

Science in teaching is as important as feel!

Here is where science based education, (mind), the primal ancestry story of Equus (spirit) and the moment to moment truth of you as a witness and observer to each horse you encounter (body) come together.

The journey with horses is multi-dimensional and nonlinear.  They do not understand nor care about our time line for training, showing, breeding or anything other than the instinctive behaviors that have been in place since the beginning of their evolution.

I am finally thrilled to be offering this monthly collaborative group to horse men and women who seek more than just the knowledge of ‘how to ride, train, understand the body, help the horse structurally, and learn more science based educational information.’ There will be plenty of that, but what speaks to me most is the foundation to all of that, the heart.  Not just that pulsing, beating heart that goes and goes in a horse, that gives and gives in a horse, but their heart connection that is always there for us, if we open to it.

Of course all of those attributes will be part of this

monthly collaborative, but not exclusive to the other arenas we will visit on a monthly and weekly basis.

This collaborative is dedicated to education, but not limited to science based education.  I believe there is another component to who we are, what we do and how we do it.  Both in life and with our horses.  For this reason I have developed this platform for YOU, who recognize the brilliance and beauty of this journey we are blessed to be on with our equine partners is not restricted to one aspect of horsemanship or life.

This platform is based on 4 main principles with sub principles which will be revealed on a monthly basis. The main principles are:

Mental - my formal academic education,

Spiritual - my spiritual studies throughout the world with indigenous teachers and masters,

Physical - my extensive riding career with some incredible teachers and masters at the helm who have steered me and guided me to the truth of functional riding both in competition and for pleasure,

Emotional - my journey into the wild both literally and metaphorically which changed the design of how I emotionally come to the table with our world with horses.

Energy and vibration are integral in understanding a horse. I had some of the best teachers, both equine and human!

To fully step into the depth of horses, at any level, I believe we have to emerge out of looking at horsemanship with blinders on, to submerge ourself into something beyond what we see, what we have learned and what science is saying.  That doesn’t mean we discard any of that material and knowledge, it means we empower ourself to deepen that knowledge and expand our horizons beyond ways that at this moment, as you read this, you do not yet know!  Exciting isn’t it?  It is for me also and this Collaborative has been a long time coming. 

Included in this Collaborative Academy are weekly posting and educational videos of principles from training, lessons and snip bits of useful information!  There are 3 sections, For the Equine Body, For The Equine Mind & The Horse as Your Mirror.  I will offer themes of education based on a ‘For the Equine Body' principle which covers everything from training and riding to functional body support, and along with the themes of discussion which at this time is the topic of ‘long and low’ I will supplement in the principles relative to that topic in the other 2 sections.  Lots of good reading material and supplemental information.

In addition, as a member you will be able to join me for a live educational lecture of topics related to our theme as well as other highly informative lectures, including some with special guests.  These live lecture events will be monthly, as well as a LIVE monthly question and answer session with all of you able to ask your burning questions and learn from one another.

I love surprises and I am assuming you do to!  So I have to include surprises into this system of learning.  We  will have coffee morning chats LIVE, special training sessions that I am teaching LIVE, rider work out sessions LIVE, wine and cheese discussions on topics chosen by you Live and finally through the winter we can put our feet up and have an educational book club live.  This will be a chosen book where we read a part of a chapter together LIVE and discuss the topic.
